About Dr. Sun

Steven Sun, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at American Pediatrics in Irvine, California. Dr. Sun strives to deliver quality care for your little ones and help ensure they stay healthy and happy throughout their childhood and adolescence. 

Under his care, you can rest assured your child will receive well-rounded care. Dr. Sun uses a holistic approach, meaning he focuses on more than just their symptoms, but their overall well-being. He focuses on helping your child lead a healthy lifestyle so that they can grow into outstanding human beings. 

Dr. Sun is one of the newest members of the practice, becoming a part of the team in 2022. Prior to joining American Pediatrics, he worked at Hoag Medical Group and Mayflower Medical Group, serving young patients during all stages of their youth. 

He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School before pursuing his pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. Dr. Sun is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Sun currently resides in Irvine, and he provides newborn and adolescent care skillfully in both Mandarin and English.
